3 & Out w/ South Shelby’s Rob Wilt

September 20, 2017 0 Comments

One question and three answers. Pretty simple, right?

Rob Wilt has been leading the Cardinals charge for over a decade now. It’s exactly 11 years if your are counting. That means he has seen plenty of good… plenty of bad… and plenty of great.

I wanted to pick his brain on the good things.

Three Moments I’ll Never Forget Involving Football:

Class 1 Semifinal (Nov. 19, 2011)

Beating a highly-favored East Buchanan (39-26) in the semifinals at South Shelby in front of a packed house to send us to The Dome in 2011.
(NOTE: The Cardinals had a four-game losing skid that season starting Week 3 and were outscored 142-39 during that span.)

Camaraderie

My playing days and the closeness you have with your teammates.

Daily Interactions

As a coach, nothing is better than the interactions you have with your players and coaches. It’s what I love most about the job.
