QND big man says team is “dialed in”

It’s always fun to talk to a high school basketball player about the important things in life — blocked shots and ladies!

But, in all seriousness, Quincy Notre Dame center Matt McPherson is a great interview. Oh, and he’s fun to watch play hoops, too. The 6-foot-9 Raider keeps improving o the court and his play is one of the reasons why the team fought back after a tough loss to West Hancock to rack up two wins last weekend.

An example is his 12-point, 15-board night against North Lawndale on the first night of the SuperFan Shootout.

He discussed the weekend’s games, what it’s like to swat a teammate in practice, and the meaning of life. Yes, the last one was really discussed. You have to listen (listen here).
