NCAA Hoops Rankings (Feb. 14)

Nobody I know likes to talk college hoops more than my one-time cohort on WGEM SportsCenter, and current women’s soccer coach at Culver-Stockton College, Tyler Tomlinson.

With that in mind, along my fascination with ranking stuff, I have asked him to submit his top 10 college hoops teams every two weeks. Disagree with us? Just post below.

HOOCH

TYLER

1)

Indiana

Duke

(up 2) Have you watched Oladipo lately? Wow… (up 5) Mason Plumlee is nation’s best.

2)

Duke

Indiana

(up 6) Mason Plumlee is NOT the nation’s best. (up 3) Pesky Illini.

3)

Gonzaga

Michigan St.

(NR) Do they fall to 21-win St. Mary’s this weekend? (up 6) Positioning themselves for No. 1 seed.

4)

Michigan St.

Michigan

(up 5) That was some crazy D! (down 1) Wake-up call.

5)

Michigan

Florida

(down 4) Loss wasn’t at home at least. (up 3) Bad loss to Arkansas still stands out.

6)

Miami

Gonzaga

(NR) Please recall still lost to Florida Gulf Coast & Indiana St. (NR) Quietly putting together a great season.

7)

Florida

Kansas

(down 1) Games at Mizzou then versus Arkansas will be fun. (down 6) Really had a tough week.

8 )

Arizona

Arizona

(down 4) Had no clue what to do against Cal’s zone D. (down 4) Cal really got better of them.

9)

Kansas

Miami

(down 7) Yuck, Part I. (NR) My new favorite coach — Laranaga.

10)

Syracuse

Syracuse

(down 5) Yuck, Part II. (down 8) What a drop.

Looks like Hooch is going by who is good now instead of whose actually good. Miami sucks and stealing shoes too.
