When interviewing Jack Lucie there are plenty of directions to go:
- The West Hancock junior wrestler finished fifth at state last year and has jumped up a weight class this year.
- He’s currently 32-1 after claiming a title at the QND Invitational.
- Oh, and his younger brother, Will, is a freshman wrestler and has done some really good things so far.
The last bullet point was the interesting one when talking to Jack this morning. When asked about whether he’d rather see himself or his brother come back with a medal from state the answer didn’t surprise me as he claimed, “I think I’d want him to get a medal over myself.”
Big brother always (LISTEN HERE TO INTERVIEW) looking out for little brother. I’ve been there but just from the little brother angle.
